"For my money's worth I would definitely stay again at La Quinta Inn. The location is great, by Taxi we could go to most of our destinations in Manhattan paying between $5 and $8. Frequently it was cheaper to use Taxis than the Subway. Some of our friends got decent sized rooms with a view to the Empire State but ours had no windows and was remarkably small, consider this. They never fixed our air conditioner no matter how much we asked them. Avoid the restaurant across the street. Try "Pizza Pete" just around the corner, it's excellent."

"It was a nic eplace to stay and convinient to attractions and also close to the subway. There was a little technique into flushing the toilet but it worked out find. Bed was comfortable. Only minor complaint is the elevator (both was working Saturday) but due to many pple staying there we took the stairs most of the time. It's not much but when you have a lot of things to take up its and killer. All in all we plan on staying here again, if the price stands. The cleaning lady was super nice, she tried her best to meet our needs. Thanks. I recommend to anyone who just wants to have fun in NYC without having to pay alot for a place to stay."

"The carpeting in the hallway on the 5th floor was stained and discolored; only one elevator was working
no one mentioned to us about the complimentary continental breakfast - we discovered it on our own about three days into our stay
no mention of the business center in the basement - my husband discovered it on his own"

"The price was great and everything else was just fine for a hotel in this class, except one thing--only one of the two elevators was working, a situation which meant 10-15 minute delays getting up and down. Call to see if the other one has been fixed before booking it.
Also, if you like Korean restaurants, this is the best block in NYC for them. Try Kun Jip (two doors down) or Soot Bul..."

"The hotel staff were extremely friendly. The rooms were cleaned and towels replaced on a daily basis. The hotel's location is perfect for sight-seeing and shopping. I really enjoyed my stay and would definately reccommend La Quinta Inn Manhattan-Midtown for quality, comfort and great value."

"the bar on the 14th floor is not advertised in reception we only found out about it on our last night but would have used it during our stay if we had known it was there"
