"If you are looking for a cheap hotel and don't plan on spending much time in your room Habitat Hotel is the way to go. Very small rooms, community restroom and shower; but it is in a good location next to shopping on Fifth Ave., Central Park, walking distance to Times Square and the Empire State Building - just don't plan on spending alot of time in the (very small) hotel room."

Habitat Hotel is located in the upper eastside of Manhattan at Lexington and 57th Street, approximately 13 miles from LaGuardia International Airport. This hotel is within walking distance of Rockefeller Center, Central Park, Saint Patrick's Cathedral, Tiffany's, and Bloomingdale's. The New York subway is 2 blocks away and Broadway theaters are nearby. Hotel amenities include the Internet cafe, rooftop patio, Opia restaurant, and nightly barbecue overlooking Manhattan's skyline. Hotel services feature a multilingual staff, concierge desk, vending machines, ATM, and a high-speed Internet kiosk in the lobby. Standard rooms for 1-2 people feature twin beds (with trundle beds), mostly shared baths, clock radios, and air-conditioning.
