"The building is older, and our suite could have used maintenance on small details--handle missing on a drawer, clothesline didnt pull all the way out, etc. Sometimes there was a long wait for the 2 elevators, BUT our suite was spacious, cool, had a new bar area with refrigerator, a huge closet with an ironing board and iron, and the bed was the most comfortable we've slept on at a hotel. Each issue we brought to them was handled immediately, and they let us check in early. All staff were very friendly and helpful. THere are many nice restaurants within walking distance. We would definately stay there again."

"Needs a total refubishment overhaul, very old fashioned, the lift was very dodgey, and the bathroom was very old, sink cracked, bath unuseable and window wouldnt close properly, so it was freezing!Apart from that a very spacious room, and very central location."

"By NYC standards, the room was very big. Also the room was sparkling clean. While the hotel is boutique style and lacks some amenities, they were all things that you could live without. I would recommend this hotel to anyone."
